We all had a great day at the recent Playback Party. It was great fun putting faces to names and email addresses. We were knocked out that you all made the effort to be there, and flattered that one or two of you even felt it was worth catching a plane for. We've since had some wonderful letters full of warmth so thank you all for making us feel so cosy and fuzzy.

We were thrilled by your response to the new songs, and it was by no means a one-way street. You've helped us a great deal in our belief in 'More', which we're currently completing with your comments pinned to the wall.

By the way, we recorded the event both in audio and video and intend to upload some film for those who couldn't make it. Better get editing, Paul!

Once again, thanks for coming and we hope it sustains you until you can get your hands on the real thing.

Typical. We were supposed to be devoting this week to resuming our work in the studio. And then it snowed. Asti and Ty have been snowed in but are surviving on the contents of their bins – still, ain't it pretty!

Next week we're going to the studio in Cheltenham to finalise the setup for our playback party, and to work out how many people can fit in. Please see the News page for more info.

As you may have noticed on the News page, a few of us have been Moby Dick. Del and STC have been getting quite competitive in their symptoms. Del even claims to have cracked a rib coughing. STC countered with total loss of hearing, smell and speech, and a strange ability to inadvertently change the TV channel by sneezing. When asked whether he could sing yet , STC seemed unable to answer.

But we're on the mend and are going to try and make up some lost ground in the re-recording of our last song, 'More'.

Typically , we've since rediscovered a song that we wrote in early December and think is a little gem. It makes use of Buffy Sainte-Marie's ethereal voice played backwards, with STC singing the refrain over a lovely orchestral fade, accompanied by dancing fairies, an indeterminate number of small furry woodland creatures and the distant thrum of moths.

We're considering whether to include it on the new album or make it an extra track for the Limited Edition.

We recently uploaded to YouTube a short clip of the band jamming during the recording of 'Plenty' . Click here for the link .

Meetings surrounding the release continue. Wish it would stop raining in support of my pledge to walk to each one.

The design of the Limited Edition looks great. We are going with the Three Feet image but the text is quite different from the picture on this site.

Del and Nicola are poking their cameras in everywhere now and are actually moderately annoying. That is until you see the results. We will put some new photographs up shortly.
